Urban Jürgensen launches The Jürgensen ONE!

CEO Soren Petersen is thrilled to launch his own pet project! The Jürgensen ONE is a sophisticated stainless steel sports watch. The case, 41mm in diameter, is well thought out to be both sporty and refined. The soft edges and unique bracelet make for a sports watch which is meant to go seamlessly from the office into the weekend and back to the office again after weekend adventures!

The Jürgensen ONE features the calibre P4 inside. The Manufacture calibre P4 has been optimized with a self winding system to be a true partner anywhere the great outdoors or the great indoors may take you. The manufacture calibre is hand finished and very robust. So, the Calibre P4 morphs to become the Calibre P5 automatic.

The Jürgensen ONE will be featured in a three handed model (Reference 5241) with date in three dial variants, Blue, Charcoal and White/Silver. The dials are a pressed in one piece and finished with a guilloche wave in the center and a grenage outer chapter which is affixed with appliques filled with blue cast Superluminova. The handsets are hand welded of multiple pieces of steel and mirror polished, or polished and heat blued (on the “White” dialed variant).The Jürgensen One is a modern steel watch that feels classic and modern at the same time. With no straight edges, the balance of the design is achieved by variations of intersecting circular shapes. Thanks to the original oval-shaped central links, the steel bracelet has a distinctive character. The case is 41 mm in diameter,13.8 mm profile. The case is made from a 7-piece construction with individually soldered lugs. The case finish is satin-brushed and mirror-polished surfaces, is impressive. Urban Jürgensen has chosen medical implant grade 1.4441 steel which provides increased corrosion-resistance, with the added advantage of a low level of nickel. Water-resistance is of 120 metres.

The Jürgensen ONE GMT (Reference 5541) will be unique to itself in only a blue dial. The Jürgensen ONE GMT features external correctors which allow the wearer to rapid adjust the hour hand both forwards and backwards when entering a new timezone, while home time always appears constant on a 24 hour dial at 6. The date is at 3 and is integrated into the rapid hand correcting function as well.
