Lebond Watches
The passionate project of Architect Asier Mateo, the founder of Lebond Watches. Asier Mateo is the curator of the Lebond Collection and the coordinator between the prestigious Architects and the Swiss watchmakers. An exclusive watch editor, dedicated to watch and architecture enthusiasts. Lebond collaborates with prestigious architects to design special, unique timepieces which is inspired by their architecture.
Lebond House
Is the headquarters of Lebond Watches, located in Barcelona, Spain.
The building was completley designed by teh Lebond design team. The goal of the project was to create a warm, serene and inspiring workplace.
Alvaro Siza

Born in 1933 in Matosinhos, Portugal. Alvaro Siza (Vieira) is widely regarded as one of the most renowned architects of his generation. His scultural works have been described as “Poetic Modernism”. His designs have left a significant impact on the World of architecture.
In 1992, Alvaro Siza was awarded the prestigious Pritzker Prize. He was considered a successor to the early modernists. The jury praised Siza’s shapes, molded by light, venerated for their deceptive simplicity and honesty.
The Alvaro Siza Watch Design Concept:
Alvaro Siza wanted to create a sophisticated and elegant timepiece. The watch is inspired by the Leca swimming pool that Siza designed in 1966 , when he was 28. The watch case shape is based on the square main pool. The watch hands are adapted from the minimal restroom signs Siza used in multiple projects.

Eduardo Souto De Moura
Born in 1952 in Porto, Portugal. Eduardo Souto De Moura is a prestigious Architect known for combining the clean lines of abstract minimalism with the use of local materials and building techniques.
His architecture appears effortless, serene and simple. The care and poetry that permeates each project, garnered Eduardo Souto De Moura the Pritzker Prize in 2011. He is often described as the “Miesian Architect”. The Pritzker Prize jury noted, “He has the confidence to use stone that is a thousand years old, or to take inspiration from a modern detail by Mies Van Der Rohe.”
The Souto De Moura Watch Design Concept:
Eduardo Souto De Moura rotated the dial, the movement and the crown 30 degrees clockwise to ensure the optimal visibility on the wrist. The result is an architect’s take on a traditional drivers watch. Souto De Moura, a proponent of clean lines, kept the dial as pure as possible.
